The SUNY Downstate Advisory Board is holding a public hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. as they go about their work to imagine the future of Brooklyn’s premiere community hospital. As of this writing, it is expected to take place in the Alumni Auditorium at Downstate. Here is a flyer with details. Anyone planning to attend is urged to register using this link so you will be notified about any changes to the plan.
PEF has been a leading voice in the coalition of unions, community organizations and clergy making the case that “Brooklyn Needs Downstate” and it’s important we show the board we are not going away and will be active in the fight to save and grow this critical healthcare hub in Central Brooklyn.
