PEF members can sign up for a virtual Public Service Workshops Program training for aspiring leaders.

This six-session workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26. There will be a welcome call from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on May 4. The training program provides participants with skills to lead teams and create motivating work environments that foster trust and accountability. Lecture, class discussion, and engaging activities address real-world issues.

Course topics include:

  • Leading Self and Others
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Effective Communication
  • Setting and Attaining Goals
  • Professionalism in the Workplace
  • Developing a Leadership Action Plan

This workshop is open to PEF and M/C employees in Grades 18-M1. Supervisory approval is required. Former Leadership Development Program (LDP) graduates are not eligible to attend.
